Q: Do you deliver every image/file you shoot?
A: No, we do not. We eliminate images/files that may dilute the overall product delivery.
Q: Have you shot at my venue before?
A: We have shot at many venues in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, so there is a good chance that we have. However, if we have not, we will get to the venue early on the day of your wedding and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations. We also do extensive online research prior to your big day!
Q: Do you do destination weddings?
A: While Candid Imaging is based out of South Jersey, we will travel all around the world. Our destination wedding packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
Q: Who will be shooting my wedding?
A: Me. More and more companies nowadays employ a bunch of photographers, often sending one of their staff photographers for your wedding. You do not know their style or personality, and this is a serious leap of faith for you. With Candid Imaging I will be the one you meet with, converse with and ultimately, shoot your wedding.
Q: My venue is very dark. How does your studio handle these situations and can I see samples?
A: We have shot in the darkest of dark chapels and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get focused pictures. Some chapels do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, we shoot with superb low-light performing equipment.
Q: Do you touch up all the images/files from our event?
A: Yes we do. Everything we deliver is post-produced with our unique signature style of post-production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, as well as other corrections.
Q: When should we do our engagement session?
A: We encourage you to do your engagement session as soon as possible. The latest we suggest is at least eight weeks prior to the wedding date due to the time necessary to post produce each image (2-4 weeks).
Q: When and where can we view our videos and/or pictures?
A:Your video files will be completed no more than 12 weeks after the date of the shoot, with photographs available within 6 weeks. Everything will be delivered digitally as well as being able to be viewed online.
Q: What rights do I have to the digital prints and video files?
A: You have the right to reuse these items in whatever way you see fit.
Q: What if I lose my videos and/or pictures?
A: You can directly download them from the web-site.
Q: What type of camera/equipment do you use?
A: Professional grade, full frame and mirrorless equipment. We carry multiple camera bodies, lights, flashes and a wide array of lenses as well as multiple audio recorders.
Q: Do you have liability insurance?
A: Yes. Many venues require the companies that work there to have Liability Insurance. If requested I will forward them a copy of my proof of insurance.
Q: We’re very busy and won’t be able to meet. Are there any other options?
A: We would love to meet with you prior to our engagement shoot or wedding; however, if you’re too busy or too far away, we can handle everything remotely.
